The book is authored by Andrea Canziani (ISC/E+T) and Wido Quist (SG), with the support of Camilla Repetti, Elisabetta Toscano and Svenja-Christin Voß. It presents a comprehensive baseline of the state-of-the-art approaches and practices in the field of historic concrete conservation to identify the knowledge gaps and mismatches existing in current practice. The CONCRETO Code Book aims to serve as a resource for professionals, policymakers, and educational institutions, providing a deeper understanding of the current state of the field while offering practical recommendations for future development.

The publication is the result of both desk research and a questionnaire spread by our project partners in Spain, Italy and Türkiye.

The CONCRETO Code Book is published Open Access (CC BY 4.0) and available in PDF or in print via your preferred (online) bookshop!
