DOCOMOMO International managed to produce another two thematic issues of DOCOMOMO Journal in 2024 and next to those, a yearly OPEN issue was started. In total 37 submissions (including editorials, book reviews, etc.) were published!

DJ #70 with the title “From Constructivism to Modernism in Kharkiv” was published in May and DJ #72 with the title “The Way towards Regional Modernities” was published online in December. We are grateful to the guest-editors of this issue: Natasa Koselj and Mejrema Zatrić.

DJ #71 was the first OPEN issue of DOCOMOMO Journal, aiming for contributions that do not fit within the topic of the thematic issues but fit the overall scope of the journal. All contributions to the open issue undergo the same peer reviewing process under the wings of the editors-in-chief.

The editors-in-chief thank all authors, reviewers, guest-editors and all other cooperators of the journal for their commitment in 2024! The graph shows that more and more readers are able to find our journal: compared to 2023, 2024 saw an increase in views with more than one third!

2025 is well on its way: the articles for DJ #73, guest edited by Zsuzsanna Böröcz and Deniz Hasirci are in the final stage of reviewing and the articles for DJ #75, guest edited by Liutauras Nekrošius and Kateryna Didenko are being finalised!

DJ #74 is the open issue for 2025 and is accepting contributions, so if you have a paper that fits in the scope of the journal, please submit and we will be happy to review and publish (when accepted).
