The CTU Prague Faculty of Architecture’s Research Database Network
The database of the Department of Theory and History of Architecture and the Research Centre for Industrial Heritage was established in 2002 with the aim of bringing together diverse data from long-term research activities and projects on a methodologically consistent, structured platform. The database serves as a working tool, an archive and a presentation source. Over the course of twenty years of operation, the database has undergone a series of updates and, in 2025–2026, a major redesign to ensure its sustainability for the next decade. It is currently divided into four sections – buildings, persons, institutions and events – which maps the history of modern architecture and industrial heritage (primarily) in the Czech Republic.
