ICOMOS ISC20C and Getty Conservation Institute webinar “Introducing the 20cHTF as a Tool for Identifying, Assessing and Celebrating Heritage Places”
DOCOMOMO International is pleased to share the invitation from ICOMOS International Scientific Committee on 20th Century Heritage (ISC20C) and the Getty Conservation Institute (GCI) to the introductory webinar “Introducing the 20cHTF as a Tool for Identifying, Assessing and Celebrating Heritage Places”, 14th October, 17:00 -19.00 CEST.
The Twentieth-Century Thematic Framework (20cHTF) was published in 2020 and is the result of a long-standing project by ISC20c and Getty Conservation Institute responding to the under representation of 20 Century sites in heritage surveys and inventories on all levels. The hope is that the framework will serve worldwide as a tool for professionals, heritage agencies, and communities for identifying, interpret and conserve a broader range of 20 Century heritage sites.
The seminar on 14th October will introduce and debate why and how to use the 20cHTF in a European context. It is heading a small series of other webinars focusing each on one of themes in the framework. It aims to bring together professionals to learn, debate and stimulate the use of the 20cHTF.
The seminar will be conducted in English and online. It is free, but registration is mandatory. Please follow this link: https://tinyurl.com/RegitrationforWebinar
