Legal Context
DOCOMOMO International is legally organized as a foundation for Dutch law: Stichting DOCOMOMO International. The foundation is based in Delft and was legally established on March 22nd, 2022. Stichting DOCOMOMO International is inscribed under number 85852902 in the Chamber of Commerce (KVK). Board members of the foundation are Uta Pottgiesser (chair), Wido Quist (secretary, treasurer) and Lidwine Spoormans (general board member). Board members do not receive renumeration nor management compensations.
Stichting DOCOMOMO International aims to gather, document and exchange worldwide knowledge about and promoting appreciation of the Modern Movement’s ideas, architecture and designs, as well as worldwide research the conditions for and promoting of conservation of the Modern Movement’s legacy in the broadest sense. The foundation aims to serve the public interest and is a not-for-profit organization.

Stichting DOCOMOMO International serves the international community since January 1st, 2022 when the international headquarters from DOCOMOMO International moved to Delft, The Netherlands. Until December 31st, 2021, DOCOMOMO International was legally based in Portugal; no liabilities were transferred to Stichting DOCOMOMO International.
Stichting DOCOMOMO International operates from the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment of Delft University of Technology, where it is granted academic hospitality at the department of Architectural Engineering + Technology.
Budget 2022-2024
The budget for 2022-2024 of DOCOMOMO International was presented and approved during the 17th DOCOMOMO International Council Meeting in Valencia on September 8th, 2022. Download it here.
Financial report 2022
After reservations (DRAW, Black Book, Open Access), there is a positive result of a little less then 11K euro, mainly due to lower costs of the secretariat, that only was operational by April 1st. The full annual financial report can be downloaded here.
