Membership

Thank you for your interest in joining our efforts of documenting and protecting the Modern Movement architecture at a worldwide scale! You can support DOCOMOMO International in several ways – by joining as individual or student member, or with an institutional or corporate membership.

• If you want to become a member, please check whether there is a Docomomo Chapter in your country on the Chapters page.
• If a Chapter exists in your country, please formalize your membership by signing up with your local Docomomo.
• If there is no national or regional Chapter in your country, you can become an International Member. Please use the “Sign Up” form below.
• Memberships are maintained on a calendar year. Members will receive 2 issues of the Docomomo Journal for the year in which they join.

As a non-profit organization, we appreciate immensely the recognition and the help of the community! Participate in the worldwide effort to preserve architecture, urbanism and design of the Modern Movement, and join a network of experts working together for this goal by becoming a DOCOMOMO Member, and benefit from all the advantages that membership includes.

Collaboration

DOCOMOMO International encourages anyone with a strong interest in architectural heritage and the preservation of the Modern Movement to apply for a collaboration program or an internship. Our doors are open to interns worldwide. DOCOMOMO looks for collaborators with the following profile:

• Academic studies in the areas of architecture, urbanism, landscaping, civil engineering, history, design, visual arts, communication, marketing, archives or others
• Proactivity and enthusiasm
• Ability to easily adapt and fast learner
• Multifunctionality
• Good team work capacity
• Previous experience in this environment is valued
• Good written and spoken English skills

As a non-profit organization DOCOMOMO International relies not only on its members, but also on support from sponsors. DOCOMOMO International is open to establishing partnership relations with various institutions for their respective programs, initiatives and projects. Such partnership can be developed in all areas deemed relevant and useful for both institutions, particularly:

• Activities in the field of architecture, including urbanism, and in particular, in the field of Modern Movement heritage;
• Activities in other fields and areas considered similar or relevant to architecture, particularly in the field of Modern Movement heritage;
• Promotion and spreading of activities in the fields of architecture and similar, particularly in the field of Modern Movement heritage;
