Docomomo Sudan / Modern Sudan Collective is organising the Third Conference of Modern Conversations on 24 January 2026 at 10 am GMT +2 (Khartoum Time).

The theme of this year’s session, Time Conversation centers on the relationship between time, modernity, and architecture. We are examining how the regulation of time shapes architectural forms and the built environment: from clock towers and institutional buildings to religious and industrial typologies.
