Docomomo Tunisia is excited to announce a special event scheduled for Tunis in January 2024. Initiated by an international architectural team, the event will center around Le Corbusier’s Villa Baizeau, built in Carthage between 1927 and 1930. This unique villa, commissioned by Lucien Baizeau, a public works contractor from Tunis (Schwich & Baizeau), stands as Le Corbusier’s sole architectural project in Africa.
