Talks: Cycle Portuguese Modern Architecture

During the month of March 2019, Professor Ana Tostões, President of Docomomo International, led a cycle of lectures at CCB, Lisbon, with the title Portuguese Modern Architecture - The diaspora and the art of being Portuguese [Moderna Arquitectura Portuguesa - A diáspora e a arte de ser português].

Modern Portuguese architecture has been accompanied by a growing internationalization that has led to a current full and unanimous recognition of an architectural production of world reference. 
The analysis of this process is carried out from the beginning of the twentieth century up to the present day, based on the evaluation of reference works and the action of its creators promoting the debate of ideas, the publication and positioning of spreading the values of Portuguese architecture to an international framework.
