Winner Announcement: 13th Edition Fernando Távora Award

Isa.Clara Neves is the winner of the 13th edition.
"Scientific approach to architectural design: from the modern rationalities. Between Europe and United States of America" was the chosen proposal among 19 candidacies and deserved unanimity on the part of the jury.

The Jury of this edition was composed by Professors Doctors José Gomes Fernandes and Carlos Prata (indicated by the House of Architecture); Benedita Sequeira Pinto, granddaughter of the architect Fernando Távora, and Dr. Manuel Sobrinho Simões, who will present a conference on the theme "The Journey", by the architect Nuno Sousa (representing the Order of Architects - Northern Regional Section).

The Fernando Távora Prize is organized by OASRN in partnership with the City Hall of Matosinhos and the Architecture House, counting on the sponsorship of Ageas Seguros. It was instituted by the Order of Architects in 2005, in honor of the Portuguese architect, a reference figure of the Portuguese architecture for his activity as architect and pedagogue.
Fernando Tavora traveled incessantly to study architecture in all ages, in all continents, using it as content and method of his pedagogical and professional activity.
