Call for Applicants: Deputy Head of School

"The School of Architecture and Planning at the University of Auckland is advertising for its next Head of School, to be appointed at either Professor or Associate Professor level, dependent on experience. The successful applicant will work as Deputy Head of School for 2018, before taking up a four-year term as Head from 2019. At the end of the term, he or she might elect to serve a second term as Head, to take up another leadership position in the University or to return to teaching, research and service in the School.

Applicants must hold a qualification in architecture, urban planning or urban design and have completed a PhD. Preference will be given to applicants who have a demonstrated record of School or Faculty leadership, such as a headship, deanship, associate deanship or programme directorship. Experience in supervising doctoral students to completion would be an advantage."
