Exposition: Axel Ghyssaert, Modern Wonen In en Rond Brugge
December 2016-8 January 2017, Stadsarchief Brugge, Bruges, Belgium
Until the 8th of January 2017, you can visit an exposition about the houses designed by architect Axel Ghyssaert (1933) in the city archive of Bruges, Belgium. His houses were mostly built in the 60s and in the beginning of the 70s. The designs are sleek but with the aim of comfortable living. He also created buildings that lay emphasis on the relation between the in- and outside.
The exposition is created together with the Architecture Archive/Sint-Lukasarchive by Jos Vandenbreeden and Sophie Gentens (curator). The archive can be visited every day of the week between 9.30-12.30 and between 13.30 and 17.00.
